2016 Louisiana School Law Workshop Draws 250 Attendees From Around The State

09/26/2016 10:01 AM

The 2016 edition of the Louisiana School Law Workshop has concluded, and we are pleased to announce that it drew 250 educators, administrators and attorneys from across Louisiana. The Crowne Plaza Hotel in Baton Rouge was the site for this year's workshop, and we sold out our block of rooms early, despite the recent flooding in the city and surrounding areas.

There were 11 sessions spanning the two-day event, and several intense subjects were covered such as new federal overtime regulations, transgender student issues in Louisiana, flood & disaster construction guidelines, bullying and Title IX. In the second year of our concurrent session format, we were able to cover a larger variety of topics for the attendees coming from various backgrounds.

We would like to thank the Crowne Plaza Hotel for providing wonderful service throughout the workshop, and a delicious buffet-style lunch on Thursday afternoon that was enjoyed by all.
