Mr. Blanchard is a May, 2013 graduate of Mississippi State University receiving a B.A. degree in Political Science. He received his J.D. degree in May, 2016 from Southern University Law Center, Baton Rouge, as a magna cum laude graduate and was Parliamentarian of the Moot Court Board, as well as, a member of the Southern University Law Review. While completing his J.D. degree, he interned for one year for the Honorable John W. deGravelles in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Louisiana. He was one of three law students chosen to represent a pro se appellant at the Louisiana Supreme Court as a student attorney. Mr. Blanchard joined Hammonds, Sills, Adkins & Guice as a clerk in July, 2015 and then as an attorney in October, 2016. He is admitted to practice before all Louisiana Courts, State and Federal, as well as the U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. He is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association and the Baton Rouge Bar Association. He works in the Baton Rouge office and his practice includes matters related to general federal litigation, school law, and desegregation.
