Hammonds, Sills, Adkins & Guice claims "People's Choice" award with chili at "Belly Up With the Bar"

This year, our firm participated in the "Belly Up With the Bar" cook-off, brewfest and fundraiser. It was held at the event center at Live Oak Arabians Stables off of Jefferson Highway in Baton Rouge on Friday, October 27th. Our booth theme was "Saddle up with HSAG", and featured western and cowboy decor in addition to our food and drink.

Through a collaborative effort and a lot of hard work - associates, partners, and staff, our firm made 20+ gallons of homemade chili, several gallons of whiskey slushes, and many traditional and non-traditional toppings for the chili to spice things up. Through a ticket voting system, our firm won "People's Choice" for Best Food/Drink at the event! We were awarded with a nice trophy during a presentation at the event, and are extremely proud of our accomplishment. We look forward to participating again next year!
