Our Managing Partner, Al Perkins, was graciously awarded the Scouting America’s Whitney M. Young, Jr. Service Award. This award was designed to recognize individuals and corporations who have been instrumental in the development of Scouting for rural, urban, and suburban youth who often face challenging barriers. The award recognizes “unsung heroes,” those who do exceptional service for disadvantaged youth. Proceeds from last night’s event will support Scouting programs throughout the Istrouma Area Council’s fourteen parish area; providing experiences that develop self-esteem, character values, and life skills and enhance the lives of young people across our country. Pictured below with Al are current, active boy scout members and Michael Beard, Tyrone Black, Dwayne Murray, and National Bar Association President-Elect James Carter, as well as Kyle Celestin, Deric Johnson, Ashley Firven, Tim Riveria, and Kristy Ceasar from our office who were in attendance.
