On Sunday, September 7, we kicked off our 2025 Louisiana School Law Workshop, with over 500 attendees from public school boards throughout the state. On this day, we got to hear from HSAGN&P’s very own Harold Adkins and Andrew Barr who spoke about Professionalism for attorneys; the Director of Investigations for the Louisiana Board of Ethics, Mr. Gregory Thibodeaux, who presented on Ethics for Public Servants; and a Superintendent Panel of Rapides Superintendent, Mr. Jeff Powell, East Baton Rouge Superintendent, Mr. LaMont Cole, and Richland Superintendent, Mr. Sheldon Jones, and they spoke on the Present and Future of Education in Louisiana. Our Superintendent Panel was moderated by LASSA Executive Director-Elect, Mr. David Claxton, and HSAGN&P’s Thomas Hayes. We can’t thank our speakers and attendees enough for making this year’s event our best yet.
