With being a leading law firm, comes great responsibility, and we take it seriously.
Our firm takes pride in being a leading law firm in Louisiana in multiple areas of law. Throughout the year, our firm participates in and hosts multiple training courses and workshops to continue to grow our attorney’s knowledge in the ever-changing legal field. We understand in order for us to better serve our clients, we must continue to stay at the top of our game. From ethics to mediations to municipal law, we host trainings that equip our clients with the tools they need to succeed, all while ensuring they stay within their legal means.

Louisiana School Law Workshop
Our first workshop of the fall, and our largest event hosted by our firm, is our Louisiana School Law Workshop. This workshop takes place in early September as the school year is just beginning. Our team of Education Law Attorneys, all with an extensive background in education law, present on any changes and/or hot topics that were discussed at this year’s legislative sessions.
The Louisiana School Law Workshop was previously hosted by Louisiana Tech with multiple HSAGN&P attorneys as speakers/presenters. Now, over a decade later, the Louisiana School Law Workshop is now hosted by our firm. We are proud to say that we have been able to grow and increase the workshop to over 500+ participants each year!Given the growth that we have experienced, we have now moved our workshop to downtown Baton Rouge with our host hotels being The Hilton Baton Rouge Capital Center and Hotel Indigo Baton Rouge Downtown, and our workshop sessions themselves taking place at the Raising Canes River Center.

Special Education Workshop
Our Special Education Workshop is a slightly smaller group as we focus more on the specific laws as they relate to special education. We have a highly talented team of Special Education attorneys that handle everything from IEPs, 504, MRDs, and IDEA, just to name a few. This workshop takes place at the Crowne Plaza Executive Center in Baton Rouge and is the perfect venue as a one-stop shop hotel and meeting space.
We start each workshop on Sunday afternoon with an early check-in/registration, and during both of our workshops, we host a Sunday night Welcome Reception for anyone who has come into town early for the event. After a full day of speakers and presentations on Monday, we host the annual Monday Night Reception where everyone has the opportunity to eat, play games, and socialize. This reception is always a favorite for many participants and has taken place at multiple venues such as Top Golf, Main Event, and Red Stick, to name a few.
