SLAKK, a local running club, brought the community together for a great cause. We were especially proud to see our very own Laurie Clarke, a founding member of SLAKK, play such an important role in making the event a success. Laurie did an outstanding job coordinating the entire event from start to finish!
Representing the HSAGN&P team and pictured in attendance were Kristy Ceasar and Tim Riveria, who joined fellow runners and supporters for a memorable day of community, camaraderie, and giving back.
The inaugural 5K was a tremendous success. Thank you to SLAKK for their hard work and dedication to raise money benefitting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. We couldn’t be prouder to have supported an event that not only brought our Baton Rouge community together but also helped further the lifesaving mission of St. Jude.
