In 1989, Kenneth co-founded Hammonds, Sills, Adkins, Guice, Noah and Perkins, which would specialize in K-12 education law. His profound insights and comprehensive understanding of the intricacies of educational policies and regulations quickly established him as a guiding force in the field.
Kenneth’s influence has not been confined to the courtroom alone. As a distinguished member of legal associations such as the Louisiana State Bar Association, the Baton Rouge Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the National School Boards Association Council of School Attorneys, and the National School Attorneys Association, he has consistently showcased his dedication to the advancement of legal scholarship and professional collaboration. His expertise extended beyond mere practice as he assumed the role of General Counsel to the Louisiana School for Math, Science and Arts Board, embodying a commitment to both his clients and the broader educational community.
Beyond his professional accolades, Kenneth has remained deeply rooted in his community. Now retired, he fought for America as a colonel in the U.S. Army. His involvement with St. Vincent de Paul and St. Jude Parish demonstrates a commitment to serving those in need, embodying the values of compassion and service that have guided his life both inside and outside the courtroom.
Kenneth’s journey into the legal world commenced at Loyola University New Orleans, where he pursued his Bachelor of Social Science degree in Political Science and later earned his Juris Doctor in 1966.
